<< Two Problems with IE6 -- 1) No Download 2) Only BMP's to save

I have two problems with IE 6 Sp 1 installed. Win 98 SE

1. Will not allow downloads of any files from remote
websites.


2. When trying to save an image, for example JPEG's it
will only allow bitmaps - .BMP


Somebody out there help me?

One answer.

The usual fix is to clear your cache.
IE-Tools-Internet Options-Delete Files (in the TIF section)

That seems to work about 98% of the time but if it doesn't, close IE
and reopen and do it again. Also it has been reported that clear
cookies helps, but ensure you save any that you need.
