this message can not be sent

This often means that the video file is large enough for the resulting
message
to exceed the size limit for your outgoing email server's size limit. This
limit
is set by your email provider, and it's usually difficult to get them to
raise it.
Does it work with smaller attachment files?

It can also mean interference from an antivirus program. What if any
antivirus programs, antispyware programs, firewall programs, and other
security programs do you have?

How much free RAM memory do you have when you try this? How big is
the video file?

Many email providers set a limit on the size of messages you can send,
including any attachments.

Also, Windows Mail is not good at reporting errors caused by interference
from antivirus programs and often says that they were caused by running
out of memory instead. What if any antivirus programs do you have?

Well, you have two problems.
1. That file is way too large to send via email.
2. McAfee is not compatible with Windows Mail, and is likely to
cause mail problems over time.

For (1), I was going to recommend http://www.yousendit.com
but I see the largest file they will send for free is 100 MB. You can
Google for similar services that have a larger free file allowance.

For (2), I recommend that you uninstall McAfee, then download
and install a more compatible antivirus like:
AVG free edition:
http://free.grisoft.com/doc/5390/us/frt/0?prd=aff
or
Avast free edition:
http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html

With either of those, during the install phase you must select custom
install, and then deselect the email scanning option.

janet, i think it's mainly a RAM issue since the error message says
you don't have enough memory. how much RAM do you have installed?
other than that, McAfee Security and Norton have both been known to
cause problems with a variety of things, and they're also very RAM-
intensive. so i'd suggest it's time you opted for a different
antivirus and firewall. you might want to follow the following steps:

1. check out and download RAMBooster:
http://techqi.blogspot.com/2008/04/really-useful-stuff-rambooster-2.html.
it's extremely handy for systems with low memory.
2. go for a different firewall:
http://techqi.blogspot.com/2008/01/miscellaneous-security-software-part-2.html.
i'd suggest ZoneAlarm, but you might want to tryout the latest version
of Comodo, which reportedly eats less memory.
3. go for a different antivirus: http://avscan.blogspot.com. read the
reviews and decide for yourself. i wouldn't suggest AVG; it's been
horrible from my experience.
4. if you're using broadband, try speeding up your internet speed:
http://techqi.blogspot.com/2008/04/how-to-put-your-broadband-on-alien.html.
since you're trying to send a large file this could help. you might
also want to split the file and send it: http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=split+large+files&meta=.

hope this helps.

I have been recieving e-mail from this source for awhile and had added them
to my list of contacts. Now the message says it is invalid. When I type in
the address or call and have them send another I try to add it again and it
says the address is already in my contacts but will not allow me to send.

The error message is not talking about how your computer is set up.
It sounds like you are using an invalid email address for one of the
intended recipients.
If you need more help with this, right-click on the error message, copy,
then paste it into a reply here.

When I try to send an email I get a message that says one or more recipients does not have a valid e-mail address. I hae
checked the computer and it seems to be set up correctly. I need a solution.

How big is the video? Many email providers have a size limit for messages
that you upload, including any attachments.

Also, problems in Windows Mail caused by antivirus programs are sometimes
reported as if the cause was not enough memory instead. What if any
antivirus
programs do you have?

What happens if you try to do it?

If you get any error messages, right click on them and copy the
entire error messages into your next message.

Also, if the message you tried to send with video attached is still
in your Outbox, can you move it to the Drafts folder or delete it?
If not, break your connection to the internet, and while it is broken,
try to move or delete it again.

If you have anything from Norton, McAfee, or Trend installed,
tell us what you have.

Also check if you have either the Google Toolbar program or
SMS Desktop installed, and if so, uninstall them. Using a website
that offers a Google Search is not a problem, but check your
list of installed programs.
