Text converted to images?

For some reason, my textboxes have converted to images. I can't change the
text at all; they are now images. Any idea what happened, and how to return
these images to text boxes?

Are you opening a presentation created in 2007 using 2003?

Yes...and I also tried to open it in 2007, but it was still converted to
images...

If you use text effects not supported in 2003 .( bevels, outlines etc.) they
will be converted to images BUT they should convert back to text in 2007.

Thanks, John. Unfortuantely, that isn't the case here for some reason. Some
text boxes are converted, others aren't. Even when I change the layout, they
are still text boxes. Looks like I have to manually go in and change each
one, unless anyone else has any opinions.

In 2007, you may need to do Office Button | Save As and save the file as
2007 format. If it's in 2003 format (it will say compatibility mode at the
top of the screen), it may still make the text images.
