Hey guys,

My web browser keeps going back to this search engine. After doing extensive
research using Google searches and going on Symantec website on how to
delete this adware, I still cannot get rid of the dam adware. I deleted
registry keys and to deleting those adware ".dll" files. I downloaded
spybot to make sure I don't have anymore other adware. I did have another
one which was adware.winshow. I got rid of that one too. What I notice is
when I open any explorer window the adware repopulates itself. All my
deleted registry key reenters back again. the website that it logs onto to
same search engine. http://www.nkvd.us/
This what I did so far to get rid of that dam adware.
1. I turn off system restore.
2. I downloaded spyspot and got rid of the adware from the registry key.
3. I have Norton antivirus 2004 which did not get rid of the four *.dll
files. Image.dll,
iefeatsl.dll, imeiesh, winshow.dll. I deleted them manually
3. Also delete the recommended registry key by Norton.
4. I also checked out run folder to see if there were any usual keys that
should not be
there. They were couple and I got rid of it.
5. I also did a search under regedit and found couple in the
HKEY_Roots-->CLISD, so
I deleted those Hexadecimal file.

6. I even uninstall IE and reinstalled IE

Tell what I Can do to resolve this problem. I cannot go any website because
it goes back to that search engine every time I type and address of an URL.

Go to this site -
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html and
scroll down to the OFFICIAL DOWNLOADS. The program I
would suggest to try first is CWSHREDDER. I used it and
it caught a few that Adaware didnt. However, I was having
some major problems, and even had some software install
itself INSIDE Internet Explorer, and add some menu options
to the program.

For these, I used the HijackThis, found on the above
link. I was lucky and found the problem guys pretty
easily, after performing the SCAN. However, if I was not
too sure about what it found, I would SAVE the scan log,
and then post it here -
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/forums.html - there
are people who will pick out what is good and bad, for you.
