Startnow

W

Wayne

I try to get into a particular website and I would get the
startnow website. I searched with adware 6 and spybot and
deleted all the adware programs and still get the startnow
website. I tried on another computer to get into the
website and was able to get to the website (This is a tech
forum study website). I deleted cookies, temp files and
searched for any other files and deleted the startnow
files. I even went to the registry and deleted the reg
keys that has anything to do with startnow and still tried
to get into the tech forum website and still got the
startnow webpage.
Is this a different type of parasite?
Please help?

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
than just those two programs. CWShredder is also available here:

If nothing there helps, please post back to this thread.
