I went to a website ( masterthegap.com). a window came up to synchronize it.
never happened before - go to this website almost daily. i know nothing
about synchronization or what it is for. i clicked yes in error. a seemingly
permanent window is now open on my desktop. i can't get rid of it. how do i
get rid of it ??
i can zoom the window up or down but i can't exit it.
did some searching - can't find any 'synch' folders in file search or
through 'add or delete' tool ( thought if got rid of files or program it
would get rid of open synch window). deleted all shortcuts to website - still
can't get rid of synch window for website. also my desktop got very grainy.
how do i get that back again?
appreciate any help and thanks in advance

Try looking under the Control Panel->Display->Desktop tab. Click the
Customize Desktop button towards the bottom and check the Web tab. You may
find that website listed as displayed on you desktop. Uncheck the site and
see if the problem goes away.
