From our case log, I understand that after installing SP2 you go to the
Control Panel and you received an error message saying: "An error occurred
while Windows was working with the Control Panel file
C:\windows\system32\netsetup.cpl". We will work together to resolve this
specific issue through the course of the case. If there has been any

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
1. Click the "Start" menu and choose "Run".
2. Type "msconfig" into the open box and click OK.
3. On the "Startup" page, look for a file name "IPMon32".
4. Uncheck the box next to "IPMon32".
5. Click "Apply" and click OK.
6. Restart the computer.
A dialog box will appear indicating that some changes have been applied to
Windows configurations.
Mark the check box and then cancel the dialog box.
After un-checking the item, this issue should disappear. Please take your
