Sidebar Freezes in Win XP

I have the Vista sidebar installed in Win XP. Every once in a while the
gadgets will freeze....clock stops....speedometer freezes. The rest of the
computer is not affected and still works normally. The only solution is to
reboot or delete and then readd the gadgets. This is no big deal since
sidebar wasn't made for XP anyway, but just wondering if anyone else has had
this happen

If you like the whole "gadgets" thing, why not simply use a program
providing gadgets that is designed to work with XP? Both Yahoo and Google
has programs that will do this.

actually I am using one. Sidebar Pack by joshoon
it has worked flawlessly for several months, but has frozen a couple of
times in the last week or two.
