Show Snaps within a Slide

Hello everyone,
I am using PowerPoint 2007. In my current presentation, I want to use
some images as illustrations to some bullet points i.e., show the 1st
bullet point, then show an image for a set time period, have that
image disappear, then, show the second bullet point followed by
another image as illustration to this point which must disappear after
a click or a set time period, and so on and so forth.

How can achieve this effect using the built-in animations?

Thanks in advance,
Mohammad

The easiest method (for me) is to:
- Add all bulleted text
- Open the Animation Pane and view the advanced animation timeline
(http://pptblog.tlccreative.com/index.php/2006/03/03/advanced_animation_timeline)
- Add Entrance animation to bulleted text box (eg. FADE), set so each bullet
enters ON CLICK
- Add and position image to go with first bullet (okay if image overlaps
other bulleted text)
- Add an entrance animation (eg. FADE), set to WITH PREVIOUS
- Move image animation up, so it is just under the bullet 1 text
- Add an exit animation (eg. FADE), set to WITH PREVIOUS
- Move exit animatin up, so it is just under the bullet 2 text
- Add next image, add entrance animation and set attributes, add exit
animation and set attributes
- Continue for each bullet that has an image
