Need Some Page Design Advice

I'm creating a slide show where the presenter wants a slide to appear with a title and about half a screen of bullet points. He then wants to click and have the bullet points disappear and have a large photo fly in from off screen. He wants to click again and have that photo disappear and another large photo fly in from off screen. He wants to click a third time and have the second photo disappear and original bullet points appear, along with a few more completing the list.

I was able to do this by duplicating the bullet box and creating a short one and a long one and then importing the 2 photos to the screen and setting up the animations and it works perfectly in the slide show. However, in slide view, the slide looks like a mess of items stacked on top of each other. This file is being worked on my several people who find it difficult to read/edit in this form.

Being somewhat new to animations in PowerPoint, I'm looking for advice on a way to do this more elegantly while still getting the desired effect for the presenter. Any suggestions?

You don't mention what version of powerpoint you are using. Pre 2002/XP?

Anyway....to help people edit the slide you need to start thinking of
(multiple slides). Each slide is the "final" stage of each build

Slide 1...title and bullets
Slide 2...title and pictures
Slide 3...title and original bullets

This will also help you when you come to print the presentation....as you
should be able to read the print outs.
