Fast-forwarding within a slide

Hello:

I have a user who's creating a Powerpoint presentation for his boss.
What he would like to be able to do is "fast-forward" within a slide
which is comprised of bullet points. Basically, his slide is set up
to display one bullet point after another after a click of the mouse.
In other words, with 5 bullet points on a slide, you would have to
click the mouse 5 times to get all of these points displayed on the
slide. However, if the person giving the presentation was running out
of time, how could he/she bypass all of the clicking and just bring up
the whole slide with all of the points displayed?

Thank you!

Karen,
you could try and go into "SlideShow" - Set up Show" and turn off the menu
item, "Show without animation".
Is this what you are looking for?

There are two different issues:

1.
If you want the viewer to see all the text in one go then:
right click on text box and choose animate slide
then deslect the 'animate slide' box

Too many rows of text appearing can be very distracting

2.
If the speaker does not have enough time to talk over the
text that is on the screen; then put less text on the page.

Text that does not make an important contribution is
irelevant and confuses the viewer.

Scotia
