settings on startup password screen and shut down menu

the screen on my pc hat prompts the password with the nice user icon and
stuff are gone... it has this old windows ugly screen that prompts password
instead

also, the shut down menu doesn't show three icons: restart, shut down, and
standby. it has like a scroll bar to select the action instead

the user icon on my start menu also disappeared although i selected under
control panel for an icon to show.

anyone know what's going on? =)

ur windows is showing classic logon user interface to get back the themed
logon save the below content to a text file and rename it to somethin.reg
then right click merge!
