Setting up a gaming LAN...how??

PAT is Port Address Translation and in simple terms it works like this.

You set your cs server up on 192.168.1.2 (your local network) running on
port 27015 for example. On your router you go to the port forwarding menu
and insert the following rule. Incoming connectionson the DSL / CABLE
interface to port 27015, send them to 192.168.1.2 port 27015. You may have
to set a tcp and udp rule for this. Thats it, people on your internal
network connect to 192.168.1.2:27015 and people on the net connect to your
external ip:27015. Simple :)
