Service pack 4 caysed pproblems

I downloaded service pack 4 which took forever and it
resulted in the following:
I cannot update from Symantec as the files does not get
downloaded
I cannot download PDF files
My computer is very slow
It locks very easily

What to do

Perhaps the download was corrupted.
Uninstall the service pack . . . see if the bugs still exist . . . if they
are fixed - great. If not, well . . .

If the bugs are gone and if you want to try again . . . consider visiting a
friend who has a broadband connection - download the full service pack and
burn it to a CD. Then try to install it that way.
