Server Service not available

Hi,

I have a Windows XP Pro SP2 machine on a network, I cannot share files from
this machine because the server service is not available. What I mean, I
open services and I cannot find the service. If I go to Computer management,
and click on shared folders then shares, I get the following error,
Error 2114 the server service is not started. And if I try to start a
service that depends on server service, like computer browser, I get error
1075 the service that it depends on does not exist or marked for deletion.

(Sorry I cannot get the exact words because I am translating from French)

Any ideas?
