Sending Word 97 Docs from a Vista Laptop

Oh my G! That's all there was to to it in my case. It had been saved but was
still open in Word. I suppose they (Microsoft) may have done that to prevent
you from sending an older version of your document. At any rate, Thank you,

one of the things you have to do before you send the attachment file make
sure the file whethrer it is a picture xml document or psd or word make
sure you save the fie first good place would be on desktop(you always can
move it) than close the program you were running it(do not minimixe make sure
you colse it completely) than try and send it that should help you 100 %

I am having the same problems that "JT" is having but did not see any
responses that explained how to correct the problem. Can someone please

Thanks for your help Gary. Such a simple solution, but I just didn't know
