secondary username cant send or receive mail

My primary email account works fine. I have two secondary user names on my
windows mail. They use to work but recently wont receive/send mail. I
telephoned ISP and they have checked and say that they should work. Username
and password is different than primary user. Have clicked accounts/tools and
checked that username and password etc are the same as the server. They say
there must be something wrong with settings or something on windows mail. Any
suggestions? Thanks.

Thanks Gary for your reply. Yes, all the messages for the secondary user are
in webmail. I didnt even think to look there. When window mail tries to check
for mail for the secondary user a box comes up and says "Logon to mail
server" " please verify both the username and password are correct for your
mail server" I then do this and the same message then keeps coming up. Once
cancelled it reads Account: 'mail.optusnet.com.au (1)', Server:
'mail.optusnet.com.au', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR Login
failed.', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number:
0x800CCC92

Thankyou, at least I can read the messages via webmail but still cant
receive on window mail.

Check your settings again with your server help page here:
http://help.optuszoo.com.au/help/dial/connected/windows/winmail

Are you using the correct username? From the webpage it looks like you only
need to use the part before the @ in your email address as the username.

Password is CaSE sENsiTivE.

Try removing the account completely, close and re-open WM, rebuild the
account again.

By the way you can name or rename your accounts from 'mail.optusnet.com.au
(1) and 'mail.optusnet.com.au to something easier, like Paulie-Work and
Paulie-Home, etc.

For some strange reason rebuilding the account again on optusnet worked - all
235 emails came in on windows mail. I had tried that on windows mail before
but dont think I had on optusnet. Thank you very much for your suggestion.
