Scrolling Problem

Paul

Hi,
I have win 98se and IE 6.0. Last week I did a Microsoft
windows update that included: 811630, mar7,2002, 814078,
330594, KB824145.
Now my Internet Explorer does not scroll correctly. When I
click just above the bottom box of the vertical scroll bar
to move the web page by one screen, the page moves up
about one and a half screens.
The page up, page down keys do work correctly, although
occasionally they freeze and don't move the screen at all.
To get them to work I have to use the mouse to go to
another web page.
I have cleared the cache and deleted window temp files
with no effect. Mouse scrolling works correctly in other
aplications.
Is there some way I can get the mouse to scroll correctly
with IE?
Thanks.
Paul

Paul:

Known issue. We're going to be fixing it in the near future. No ETA. I'm
sure the information will be documented properly in a KB article and such
when it's fixed.

Dan,

I sure hope MS uses the golden opportunity of next week's monthly updates to
incorporate the fix. It's highly likely one of those fixes will be a new IE
cumulative anyway.
