right click or ctrl+c hangs

B

BRagRed

Every time a right click or hit ctrl+c on a file it hangs for about 30
secs.

I did a netstat and found that there is a process attempting to make an
outgoing netbios-ssn connection to a system that's not on the network.
The state is in SYN_SENT, so I guess it waits for a response and then
times out.

Here's what i've tried :

- Unchecked automatically search for network drives and printers in
folder options
- Disabled NETBios in IP(TCP/IP)/WINS options.
- Set the value for restrictanonymous in hkey_local....LSA to 0x2.
- virus scan
- defraged

Nothing worked, any new ideas are welcome.
