My restart feature doesn't work. When clicking restart the system just shuts down completly, like on normal shut down. How can I re-install it? Is there some button to click

Thanks

Go to Control Panel>Power Options. Look there for any settings you can
enable.

Rich - There is nothing in the power options box that remotely looks like an option to reset the restart option. I have looked at, system, display, internet options, & network connections among others. Nothing about restart. Maybe a deeper level?

Hi Cpt. J,

Mine has had the same problem since I formatted my drive about 9 months
ago. It'll restart as far as where the screen is about to turn black and
run the progress bar across the bottom, then it freezes with the hard
drive light solidly on.

I've just been hitting my restart button at this time and it kicks it in
gear agian and it finishes the restart. I'm kind of hoping someone will
pass through here that can point to the event that's hanging the restart.
