Problems reinstalling Norton Systemworks

Long, long story short...my hard drive died and when I got it back, the only
things left were my documents and shared documents..everything else was gone.
I need to reinstall Norton systemworks 2005..but when I put in that product
key I get an error message saying "Invalid key. Please enter the correct key
and try again". I do and it won't go.
I did go to their site, it didn't help one bit. My firewall is turned off,
thinking that may be it.
Any suggestions at all would be wonderful, I can't get a new version..I just
spent more $ to fix this thing than I should have!!
Thank you!

This msg would tend to indicate a Norton problem. ie are you sure you typed
the key correctly eg 0 or O
PS Not that Norton is going to do anything for a correctly installed system

I thought so too, but there are no 0's or O in the the key. I'll try some
other stuff. Thanks for replying
PS. it's done well for me. :) in the past.
