Printer Not Ready Device is busy. Try again Later

I am getting the following message when I try to print:

Printer Not Ready

Device is busy. Try again Later.

All connections are fine. The control panel says ready to go.

Any suggestions for solving? THANK YOU VERY MUCH

Not an expert. Could it be that you may have a build-up of
unfinished printing tasks ?
