[outlook 2003] Do not deliver before

G

Guest

Hello,

When I select the option Do not deliver before [date] my message stays in
the outbox and will be send only when I leave Outlook open.
But I want to close outlook when I go home and the message still needs to be
send.

Is there any option to send the mail later and close Outlook?

Thanks !

No. You'd need to connect to an Exchange Server to do that.

I only won't work with an Exchange account and Outlook closed if you are
using cached mode. It will work if Outlook is in Online mode, the dealyed
delivery is set and then Outlook is closed.

Refer here:
"An e-mail message may not be delivered at the scheduled time when you
enable the "Do not deliver before" option in an Outlook 2003 message"

If you are using "Outlook Hotmail Connector", this function does not work. "Outlook Hotmail Connector" account will not be using it even if you accounts. The control panel to create a new Outlook Profile and create POP3 account then you can try it.
