Opening Emails in full screen

After reinstalling Vista I no longer am able to open my emails
in full screen. I have to maximise my emails to do this.
I am able to open emails in full screen on my lap top.
I have been maximising emails before closing but when
I reopen them, they do not open in full screen
Help would be appreciated

When the message window is open, drag it to resize it so that its size is
almost fullscreen. Then close the window and next time it opens it should
open to that size.
