Hi
using Vista Ultimate, with windows mail

My lap top has suddenly given up the ghost. In order to continue working, I
have placed the hard drive in a caddy and have added it as an external drive
to my desktop.

I am trying to import emails from the lap top hard drive, but can not find
the files. can anyone help please ?

\Users\(youraccount)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\Local Folders

The \AppData folder is normally hidden, so you can't see it until
you change your settings to show hidden files. To show hidden files, open
Windows Explorer, click on "Organize", select "Folder & Search Options",
Select "View", check "Show hidden files and folders", OK

The default location is:
C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\Local Folders\

Note: AppData is a hidden folder, so you will need to set your folder view to
unhide hidden files.
