wireless vista reading outlook emails

I have a new wireless laptop 'connected' to a xp/outlook ntl broadband
connection/computer. Everything is fine on internet but when using windows
mail i can send ok but i can't 'see' all the emails that are on the
non-wireless computer running xp/outlook. i have sent tests to all ntl email
accts from the vista lap top and they get them and show both computers. i
have checked that box ticked to save all emails to server on both but still
can't get the 'stored emails' on the xp one on vista help please

Well, unless you tell your mail program to leave messages on the
server, they'll be deleted.
