New Emails Not Showing in INBOX

I just setup MS Mail to sync with my AOL email address. I can see the old
emails, but new ones do not hit my inbox. I can send emails without a
problem. It is also taking a very long time, once I click on create a new
email, until the time that the screen is ready for me to select a contact to
send the email to. I am running a new DELL laptop with Vista. Any idea how to
fix this?

Did you follow AOL's mail setup instructions:
http://postmaster.aol.com/imap/express.html

Those instructions were written for Outlook Express, but
Windows Mail uses the same settings as Outlook Express.
