Ol2K Error in PSTPRX32.dll

My friend has Outlook 2000 and has three (bold) entries in his Deleted
folder. If we try to delete the entries we get an error message "Outlook
has caused an error in PSTPRX32.dll"

I can't find a reference in Google that is pertinent.

I ran SCANPST and found no errors.

Try MOVING the mail to your deleted folder and then
clearing your deleted folder.

Or

Try using the SHIFT + DELETE keys while the message
is highlighted to delete it.

or

Try using the ADVANCED FIND. Look for that mail.
Once it shows in the Advanced find window try deleting
it from there.

or

Try MOVING the mail to a NEW FOLDER then
try to delete the entire folder.

Thank you VERY much for your suggestions. I did move the messages to the
Deleted folder then tried to empty the Deleted folder. Same result.

I then created a folder in the Deleted folder and Moved them there. They
moved Ok but I still couldn't delete the folder or the messgages.

I'll get my friend to try the SHIFT+DELETE keys and report back
