New Outlook Problem

New problem with Outlook on Office 2000.

I am using a legal upgrade of Office 97 – using Windows
2000 upgrade. I have been using this for some years
without problem. Last week, Nov 2003, I suddenly found I
could not receive mail from my service provider. I can
get a modem lock with the service provider but then
receive the following message;
OUTLOOK casued an invalid page fault in module
PSTPRX32.DLL AT 17F:3FF5AB24.

There is a good few more lines of information on this
error. The error causes Outlook to crash. I cannot
receive or send mail. I can however connect to my
service provider with Explorer and surf the Internet.

I have re-installed Office 2000, but wihtout solving the
problem. I have run Office 2000 Repair without solving
the problem. I have discussed the problem with my service
provider who took me through a complete reinstallation of
my email accounts – but without solving the problem.

Can anyone suggest a solution please?
With thanks
Gerry
