Outlook Error Messages

My problem is two-fold.
(1) When I open Outlook, I get this Personal Folders message:

"This information service has not been configured. Select an existin
file to configure, or type the name of a new file to create." What doe
this mean and how do I correct it?

(2) I was able to click OK when I got that Personal Folders message an
was able to read & send mail up until last week. Now after I click OK
I get this message:

"Outlook has caused an error in PSTPRX32.DLL. Outlook will now close."

I'm not able to stay on Outlook long enough to do anything. Any hel
with these problems will be appreciated. I'm 5 days behind in checkin
my e-mail. Thanks

This means that you probably have a "Personal Folders" service defined in
your mail profile, but it doesn't point to an existing file. It's easy to
generate one of these by attempting to add a Personal Folders file by using
the COntrol Panel Mail applet, but canceling just prior to defining the
file. Open your mail profile and verify that each Personal Folders service
is associated with a file.

While I'm not familiar with this particular message, the file name
"PSTPRX32.DLL" implied that this module manipulated PSTs (Personal Folders
files). I suspect that removing and re-adding the ill-defined Personal
Folders service in your mail profile will cure both problems.
