networking - username and pass prompted when trying to access ...

A username and pass is prompted when trying to access the
desktop computer on my home network. I am able to access
my laptop from the desktop but not vice-versa. What am I
doing wrong.

FYI, The laptop is running win XP Home ed. and is on a
wireless network with the desktop which is running win
2000 Pro. and is wired to the network.

All accounts/passwords must exist on all machines, or Guest must be enabled
(the latter is a bad idea).
