Network Places not recognizing Intranet URLs

I have a new install of WinXP Pro, on an existing client box, but a
free partition. It will create a network place to one of my Intranet
site, but not to another. The network is run by a SBS2003 domain
controller. It built the Network place to http://10.0.0.40/TestNet but
always returns a message saying that http://10.0.0.52/Reflections is
not an OK URL, please choose another. What is the procedure for
getting it to behave?

The error message is: "The folder you entered does not appear to be valid.
Please choose another." A search of the KB only shows a troubleshooting
article for Win2000. Where is the article for WinXP SP1?

I did a search of the disk, for msdaipp, and only found the dll. I don't
find any directory that may have been recreated for Network Places. Isn't
this supposed to be recreated when you attempt to do a Network Place? Just
how do Network Places get created and stored under SP1!?
