I am trying to set a network place to a site on my Intranet. I
recently changed the virtual server from a fixed IP to a host header,
rebooted the server-box, etc. I am trying to set the Network Place on
a WinXP SP2 workstation that uses a URL on my homepage to branch to the
site, but now I want to open FrontPage through a Network Place object.
I know that there is a somewhat complicated process of deleting a
couple of folders, one of which is termed the Rosebud folder, which
contain cached network place objects. Is there a utility or script
that is floating about that can be used to do this?
KB269681 shows the correct error, but the wrong cause. Q283190 isn't
the problem either. Q287402 tells you how to trouble shoot Network
Folders for older Win OS. Is there an updated one for Windows XP?
