I had a web, served by a virtual server using an IP address (10.0.0.40)
which was bound to the LAN NIC on my SBS2003 server. I have deleted
that IP address from the NIC on the server, removed the DNS entry to
that IP address, and assigned a host header to the Virtual Web Server
of the web.
However, the IP address lives on in the Network Place folders. Every
time I select that Network Place folder, whatever is touching it quits
responding, and I have to use the task manager to delete the
application. How do I delete that entry in the Network Places?
