About 24 hours ago i started receiving an error message that says:

the inconvenience

The click here data report contains:
Nothing that i see usable.

Currently the error pops up every time i use internet explore or aol.
It also comes up about 15 times at the start of the computer.

Also a message saying that C:/Program may be causing some programs to
not work properly. Please rename C:/Program1. It now says C:/Program 6
because i have renamed it 5 other times. I can not find a file C:/
Program1,2,3,4,5 or 6. I changed folder setting to showing all hidden
folders.

I also have searched google, yahoo, and msn. For error messages
similar to both above, have found some but no answers.

I have Windows XP Pro, no new programs were downloaded within the last
two weeks. The error message as stated above started around 24 hours
ago.

Jack,

What is the memory address/module of the error if any?

You say when you launch AOL. That has an aouto-repair solution but it uses
the Iternet Explorer object

What do you have running on startup?

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/utilities/autoruns.mspx

Look at the RUN keys (HKLM & HKCU) mainly
(HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run) etc.

I don't understand this Program1 error etc. Please explain a little deeper

Awaiting you reply,
