Error Message when closing IE XP Pro

About a month ago I started getting an error message that says Explorer has
encountered a problem when closing, with the "Don't send report" and "Send
report" tabs at the bottom. The annoying thing is; If I have more than 1 one
window open and I close any one of the windows, the whole IE closes after the
error message.

Any suggestions on how to fix this would be appreciated.

Thanks for the answer. However, I do not have a problem with opening IE or
web pages. When IE is open, everything works fine. My problem is when
closing a web page. This is when I get the error message and IE closes
completely. So I have to keep every new page or window open when using IE.
Maybe the enswer is in the article you reference, but my limited technical
knowledge is not able to see it.
