My excuse==may be a duplicate post IE7

This is kind of a "generic" question, regarding IE7, and all the security
additions it has incorporated with it.

I followed by the letter PA Bears' tutorial, and my install with without a
hitch.

A little background on my machine:
New IE7
384 MB RAM

It's my understanding that there is a hot-fix to address the delay in the
phishing filter, which I've installed.
40 gig HD 82% free
Spybot S&d
Adaware.
Windows Defender
A very early version of ZA that works well with XP Pro XP2



It may be simply a "fig-bar" of my imagination, but is IE7 slightly slower
that IE6? I'm guessing with each new incarnation of IE 7's browser, there
tends to be more overhead.

I realize my machine is marginal at best. I used to use IE6 and Maxthon (My
IE2) and was happy. But I do like the newest and greatest, AS LONG AS MY
MACHINE can handle it. Please any words of wisdom. I realize this is
probably best asked in inetexplorer., but *all* opinions welcome.

Hi Curt - IE7 is very sensitive to third-party add-ons, so it is best
not to have any (Yahoo, Google, etc.). Also, my experience with IE7 is
that it is very slow (comparatively) with the phishing filter on. Try
turning it off and just be careful not to get fooled. ;-)
