Metadata Monitor Popup

Every time I start WinXP, a Metadata monitor window displays with the
following information:
Metadata monitor has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry
for the inconvenience.

If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on
might be lost.

Please tell Microsoft about this problem. We will treat this report as
confidential and anonymous.

How do I correct this issue? Is this due to some file that may have been
deleted? Also - I can no longer define a Restore point. When the window opens
- it's blank.

Thanks.

No - never heard a thing! I'm thinking of posting the message to the Smart
Computing web site - maybe they'll have an answer!

Perhaps locating this "Metadata monitor" software on your PC may give a
clue as to what program it belongs to, and then you may ask the progam
vendor what it is for.
