java vm with IE6 / Sp2

I go to a few sites (some I have used before with no problems) but now they
say that my browser is not equiped with java and that I should go to the sun
site and download the java vm but I can find no java vm persay on thier site.
they have java ee sdk, etc.
I am running xp pro / IE 6 / Sp2
Which on should I download and install?

http://java.sun.com

Click on the Get Java Software icon in the upper right of the page. You
end up installing the JRE (Java Runtime Edition) because that is what
contains the JVM for the browser, too.
