Is there a FAQ for Windows IE Setup

Hi,
I have read some posts about the java script errors, IE hanging, IE window
disappearing, IE not loading a URL, IE problems with pop ups, firewall ...etc.
I've had almost all the problems one time or another. Is there an FAQ on
what the settings (under Internet Options) should be for all these options to
allow smooth surfing? I also have McAFee Internet Security 6.0.

Thanks,
Sikander

My reply is at the bottom of your sent message:
I have Windows XP and IE 6.0 with SP2.

Here's what's in my clipboad manager:

If you get really bored you can test this one:

Disable Information Bar Prompt in Internet Explorer
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\InformationBar]
"FirstTime"=dword:00000000

(I haven't verified that one so you're on your own with that.)

Those seem to be the most frequently asked questions other than some basic
ones that are just to easy to type out each time...

Open IE, click tools, options, content, auto-complete, etc... Those are
faster to just type out each time.
