Internet explorer takes forever to load.

Internet explorer takes forever to load. mine is a new
computer and i had windows xp pro. i have internet
explorer 6 on the system. i was having problems with it
and then suddenly it started taking forever to load. so,
i went to microsoft website and they said that i can
reinstalll internet explorer if i choose to tweak a
registration entry, which i did. worked fine a couple of
times and now it is taking forever to get it loaded ( i
mean like 10 minutes). and mine is a 2.66 gig , 512 mb
ram system, 60 gig hard drive... please help me....

Check your DUN connection with your provider. You may be using a static IP
address.
Is so then you will only connect when the IP address to your provider is
freed.
