IntelliMouse and point32.exe problem ...

Hi,

I recently installed Windows XP Pro. on my new PC and downloaded the
latest driver for my IntelliMouse.

The mouse worked just fine on my old PC with Windows 2000 but with
Windows XP i keep on getting this error from the file "point32.exe":

And the Event Viewer gives this error description:

http://qth.dk/IntelliMouse/Error_EventLog.gif

I'm using Windows XP Pro. with Service Pack 2 and the IntelliMouse
driver is 5.2 (both point32.exe and point32.dll have file version
5.20.413.0) and the Terminal Service is set to Automatic.

Any suggestions to what I can do to solve the problem?

Try downloads at microsoft,scroll to intellipoint,locate the 5.0 version for
XP.5.2 is the latest,but is not as stable as 5.0

I haven't had the problem since I installed the 5.0 version.
