Mr. Burn
I currently have vers. 2.3.9 on my Windows 98 machine. Which file should I
use to update my program, e.g. uninstall what I have and install new version
or simply download and run "update only"

Thanks.

Chet

If upgrading, you can just download the "no install" version (no need to
uninstall the current version first) as there are no new dependancies.

Thank you, Steven. Uhm, I did have a feature request. Looks like I'm tardy,
but for the next time you spend time on a revision....Can I please toggle
my toolbar offscreen?

Btw, I want to get to be the first one to nominate this for PL 2005. If
I could find the mail-in form for the ballot, get the early postmark on
there...

hehe, I'm just about to get a bath but, as soon as I get out, I'll work on
adding the feature for you ;o)

Karen,
I've updated Index.dat Suite with a toolbar toggle (hotkey F3).
Haven't changed the version number though as it was only a minor addition.

Thanks! The world's speediest programmer. I hope you never let any wicked
corporation try to trick you into working on a per-hour fee. If such a
dialog starts, end the interview abruptly, and tell them your prior
commitments bar your from accepting. Those commitments being to stay on
call 24/7 to keep your women spoiled, at any moment they beckon for a
feature.

Can't download this file for some reason, so I just downloaded the

Steven, is this logging optional? Don't think I'd want this feature on
my system.

By "full application logging", I only meant Index.dat Suite (no other app's
are logged)

Thought everyone would like to know, there was a bug in v2.5.0 surrounding
the resizing (when you resize the window, the size column disappeared, and
there were no scroll bars to access it). I've fixed that now and uploaded
the fixed one.

Fraid it's still not working here. Might be one of my browser or proxy
settings.

I understood you, Steven. However, IMO any logging is undesirable if
it's not optional. At any rate, I notice that I can easily clear the
log when I want to. Still, since I never want logging that's an
unwanted extra step.

Sorry, JMHO.

No need for apologies. I only put it in there due to the amount of support
requests that provided little or no information (this way, they can just
send me a description of the error, and the app log) which made it almost
impossible to diagnose.

I'll make it optional next time I do an update
