IE6 makes loud "whooshing" sound

Title says it all. I have a fresh install of XP pro with all the updates and fixpacks. A lot of the time, when I load a new page, I get a loud whooshing sound in my speakers. It's not part of the Microsoft canned sound schemes. Anybody know what makes this sound?

So when you visit the Sounds applet and hit the Play button for each
event to which a sound file is assigned, none of those sound events
playback that sound? That is, have you actually reviewed each sound
assigned to an event to see that none of them sound like this "whoosh"
noise?

What do you have integrated into IE? Do you have any popup blockers
installed? Are they configured to make a sound when they have blocked a
popup? Got any BHOs (browser helper objects) installed? Use BHO Demon
or Spybot's Tools section to find what BHOs are installed. Could be one
of them.

Thank's Vanguard. It was "No Pop" . I just reinstalled it also, and forgot to check the setings.
