IE 6 Patch

Ever since I downloaded the August 2003, Cumulative Patch
for Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 (822925) my
computer is giving me prompts about my Active X controls.
Please Help! It has even disabled my Norton Antivirus so I
cant send mail.

Turn off email scahhihg in Norton.
Even Norton admits that email scanning is unnecessary, in the last paragraph
here:
