Cumulative Patch for IE 6.0 does not recognize the correct IE version

After having downloaded the cumulative patch q321232 from the web page

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/critical/q321232/default.asp

I tried to apply it on my system Win2000+SP4 + IE 6.0.2800.1106

but the patch pops up a windows saying

"This update requires Internet Explorer 6.0 to be installed"

Hmm, I HAVE IE 6.0. Why doesn't recognize the patch the current version?

Is there a newer cumulative patch?

Because the patch was included in SP1. The message was (very) poorly
written.
