IE 6 Doing Strange Things

I have my homepage set to google.com, when i open the
browswer and type something into google it takes about a
minute after i hit the search button before it opens up
the search results page. This my system in a nut shell,
1.6 ghz athlon thunderbird, 512 ddr ram, i run adaware
daily and easy cleaner as well. i dont have any spyware
on my comp and i keep everything on my comp updated. I
cant figure out what the hell is the problem. Also, half
the time i get this website address in the browswer and
cant figure out how the hell to get rid of it!
http://www.errorplace.com/red.php?c={7FB728D9-27BB-4FCA-
AB01-272F9A00A1D6}&aff=heaven&q=aimglobal. Seems like a
hijacking of my browswer but i cant find a solution to
get rid of ERRORPLACE.COM!!!!! please help me with both
issues, Thanks

You said you didn't have any spyware? What did you scan with? Errorplace
is spyware/malware/garbage. If you have attempted to remove this garbage
without success, you should probably post a hijack log at one of the forums.
