htm/html Help

When I publish my website the index.htm page changes to index.html.
This creates broken links on my site.

The site uses plesk for the control panel. Everyhting else seems to
be working fine.

Any one had a problem like this?

Rename the index.htm on your computer to index.html and let FrontPage update
the hyperlinks when prompted.
Then republish your entire web.
