How do I get Adminisrtator group rights?

I just bought Quick books pro 2005, I installed it and now when I try to open
it it comes up with an error that reads-
"Windows XP & Windows 2000 users must have power users or administrator
group rights in order to run quickbooks."
I do not know enough about my computer to set this up. Help! How do I get
these rights?

Try opening Control Panel and then select User Accounts. On this screen,
click User Accounts again. Look for the name of your account here. The
screen will show what user group your account belongs to.

If it shows "Computer Administrator," then you are logged on with the
correct account type. Chances are good that you already have the right
account type since you were able to install the software. So why the
message? It could be an error within Quickbooks setup. Or...

Sometimes programs install extras within a user's account folders (related
to data stores and preferences) when they are first launched. Try placing
the Quickbooks CD into the cdrom drive. Then launch the program.

Alternatively, you could contact Quickbooks tech support or search their
support pages for a solution. Most software companies give free support for
installation issues.
