I have just put together some observations that may help
someone get a handle on one aspect of this problem.
Some web pages are being given the character set of
western european (ISO). Autoselect correctly chooses that
option. IE6 displays Red X's for the graphics. When you
manually choose western european (windows) for that page,
the graphics are displayed correctly.
Can someone determine why the graphics don't display
properly under ISO? Is it possible that less problems
would be encountered by unchecking auto select, while
checking (windows)?
Just some thoughts. Discussion anyone?
